How to play
Tap Hear it, then tap the letter or word that matches. A miss says try again. Four correct answers finish a level. Later levels stay locked until the one before is done.
Level 1 is two vowels. Then three letters, first-sound pictures, last sounds, two-sound and three-sound blends, close words like cat and cap, reading without a picture, and a 2–3 word phrase.
Ages and levels
Ages 3–4: two-choice vowel sounds. Ages 4–5: consonants and picture matching. Ages 5–7: blending and short phrases. Everyone can start at level 1.
Graduation is level 10. Parents signed in collect a phonics badge and three family credits, once.
Why letter-sound play helps
Early reading is ears before pencils. Matching a heard sound to a letter, then blending c-a-t into cat, is the same skill used in classroom phonics, without turning the kitchen into a test.
Keep sessions tiny. Pair this game with a joyful read-aloud. The game is seasoning; stories are the meal.
